Vision

​

Our heart is to host the presence of Jesus and be a people who truly walk with Him.

We long to raise up wholehearted disciples — men and women who live close to His heart, are formed by His Word, and are sent into everyday life carrying His love and power.

We believe God has significant purpose for Cape Town. We pray and contend for our city to awaken to Jesus — to become a place marked by revival, reformation, and the transforming power of the gospel across every sphere of society. It will be a light to the nations.

We see Jesus People as a Spirit-led family on mission — carrying His presence, preaching His gospel, and trusting Him to bring renewal not only in our city, but wherever He sends us. We are an interconnected network of communities seeking to see Jesus get His full reward in the city.

We Exist To

Follow Jesus wholeheartedly — keeping His gospel at the center of everything — and continually seeking His Presence through prayer, worship, and deep dependence on the Holy Spirit.

 

Be formed by His life as we abide in Him together, allowing His love, truth, and grace to transform us personally from the inside out in authentic spiritual family.

 

Overflow with His goodness into the world around us — loving people in tangible ways and sharing the gospel in both word and action.

 

We believe that as we host and live from His manifest presence, real transformation happens — first in us, then in our homes, and ultimately across our city. Personal renewal becomes city-wide reformation as His life flows through His people.

Our Way of Life

​

We are not building a crowd — we are living as a spiritual family centered on Jesus.

Gather. Grow. Go

Each week we gather in homes — around tables, in living rooms, in the middle of real life — to eat together, worship, pray, encounter His Presence, open the Scriptures, and encourage one another to walk faithfully with Him.

We don’t only gather — we go. Together, we step into our local community through practical outreaches, serving and loving people in tangible ways so that the goodness of Jesus is not just spoken about, but demonstrated.

Once a month, we gather as a larger family to worship wholeheartedly, celebrate testimonies, and make space for the Holy Spirit to move among us and send us out again.

Our rhythm is simple:

Homes weekly.
Outreaches together.
Celebration monthly.
Seeking His Presence daily.

This ultimate vision is that Jesus people would embody three expressions:

• Jesus People Gatherings that embody the Kingdom in everyday life, and reach out to their region together with the saving love of Jesus. These Groups will partner with local ministries and churches to bring the gospel to every corner of the city.

• Houses of Prayer across the city in partnership with current local churches that minister to Jesus and contend for revival and transformation in the city,

• A School of Ministry that raises disciples and equips revivalists to live and lead in God’s power and love, and take the gospel to "all the world". ​​

​We are not building for ourselves. We are building with the Body of Christ, linking arms with churches and ministries already burning for His purposes. Together, we believe we will see Cape Town become a lighthouse of revival, and from here, the fire will spread across Africa and to the nations.
